Marc German - General Manager / Scuba Instructor

Marc is a PADI IDC Staff Instructor, and teaches several Specialty courses in addition to the core PADI diving courses: Enriched Air Nitrox, Search and Recovery Diver, Boat Diver, Equipment Specialist, Dry Suit Diver, Digital Underwater Photographer, Diver Propulsion Vehicle, Emergency O2 Provider, Multi Level Diver, Underwater Navigator, Deep Diver, Drift Diver, DPV, Project AWARE, AWARE Coral Reef Conservation, and Peak Performance Buoyancy. He is also an Emergency First Response (CPR and First Aid) Instructor Trainer and an Instructor Trainer of Care for Children (with AED). Marc also teaches First Aid, CPR and AED with the American Heart Association and the American Red Cross.

Marc’s favorite dive is Molokini, HI. The dive is great because it’s a half moon shaped island as the top of the volcano rises from the sea. Inside the crater is a sandy bottom with a depth of about 40-60’, and outside is a wall that goes deep into the ocean. There’s a huge variety of wildlife, plants and coral, with opportunities for deep or shallow dives. It’s a protected site, so divers will be able to enjoy it for many years to come!

Overcoming obstacles is the first step to adventure!

Marc was certified as a diver in 2009. After a couple of years of diving, he achieved his Master Scuba Diver certification, and decided to continue into PADI’s professional dive training. He became a Divemaster in 2012 and soon afterwards was certified as DSD Leader. In early 2013 he earned the PADI Open Water SCUBA Instructor rating and he joined the Adventure Sports staff soon afterwards, then became a Master Scuba Diver Trainer, and is now a PADI IDC Staff Instructor and EFR Instructor Trainer.
