Nef Torres - Divemaster

CERTIFICATION:
Nef is a PADI Divemaster. Before deciding to become a PADI professional, Nef actively pursued his dive training, earning the highest PADI certification for a non-professional diver, Master SCUBA Diver. He also holds a number of specialty certifications: Deep Diver, Underwater Navigator, Peak Performance Buoyancy Diver, Search & Recovery Diver, and Enriched Air Diver.

FAVORITES:
Nef says his favorite dive is Hole in the Wall, Guanica, Puerto Rico.

PERSONAL MOTTO :
Just because my wetsuit fits doesn't mean I look good in it. I'm getting a drysuit!

BIO :
Nef says that he developed a passion for the water growing up on a Caribbean Island. He swam, snorkeled, and spearfished on a regular basis--that's just what you do when you grow up on an island! SCUBA was a natural progression and he was introduced to it at the age of 12 by an Instructor he befriended. Nef became formally certified in 1996. Eventually, he decided to make an alternate career out of his hobby. Nef is having a great time as a PADI Divemaster and says he is on the way to a Scuba Instructor certification.
