CERTIFICATION:
Master SCUBA Diver Trainer and Emergency First Response Instructor. In addition to offering the basic PADI courses, I enjoy teaching a wide range of Specialty courses including: Enriched Air Diver (Nitrox), Deep Diver, Wreck Diver, Night Diver, Search and Recovery Diver, Underwater Navigator, Underwater Naturalist, Underwater Photographer and Underwater Digital Photographer. As an Emergency First Response Instructor, I can offer CPR and First Aid courses as well.

Favorite Dive: At Cozumel, celebrating our 25th anniversary. I surprised my wife, Tracy, with a renewal of our wedding vow and a diamond ring at 45’. Favorite Dive Location: Can I just say beautiful, warm, blue water?

BIO :
I grew up watching Jacques Cousteau and (reruns of) Sea Hunt, and earned my first certification as a YMCA Skin Diver in 8th grade. I carried that card in my wallet for ages! But my dreams of becoming a SCUBA diver would have to wait until many years later. Tracy and I earned our PADI Open Water Diver certifications as part of our 20th anniversary celebration, and loved the diving lifestyle! We then decided that introducing others to the fun and enjoyment of diving was even better, and we both became PADI Divemasters. Tracy then encouraged me to achieve my dream of becoming a PADI Instructor. David is the current President of Wichita's dive club, the Doo Dah Divers.
